A setup is a full assessment and adjustment of your guitar. Before any work is done the current state of your instruments geometry, humidity and playability is checked. Once assessed the setup begins with a full cleaning, fret polish to remove minor scratches, cleaning and oiling of fingerboard, tightening and lubrication of hardware where applicable, restring, neck adjustment, action adjustment to players preference, radius saddles, nut slots filed to appropriate size and height, intonation, checking electronics and balancing pickups and play test
